Turkey-Syria Earthquake - Why we need to look beyond just seismology.

A Green Comet, a Saturn Transit, a Full Moon preceded a powerful earthquake that killed tens of thousands of people in Turkey and Syria.

The Saturn transit occurred on the 17th of January, succeeded by the ominous appearance of the green comet in the wee days of February, and ultimately came the Full Moon on the 5th of February - in just hours after this triple assault, a cataclysmic earthquake ripped through an already fragile region.

Although due to some reasons I did not make a video on this subject, despite a deep feeling that an earthquake could happen - another talented Dutch researcher, Frank Van Hoogerbeets has done a yeoman service to the Science of Jyotisha (he calls it planetary geometry).

The stunning prediction has yet again proven that looking out of the box of gross, unimaginative science can not only give us great opportunities to explore the World around us and even better - save many lives by knowing something to happen in advance. The more we have an open mind the better, and the sooner we do this the more we can explore.

Planetary geometry is another way of looking at Celestial Bodies and relating them to the Earth. It is wonderful to see that these dimensions are being explored by people and at the same time, it is very much disheartening that mainstream seismologists do not have an open mind.

I sometimes wonder if these Geology Departments of countries are established just to count the death toll....no significant strides are being made in exploring alternate methods of predicting and coping with powerful earthquakes.

We need to do more research on each of these important fields - and translate ancient views into modern situations to better understand our World.
